At 85 meters above sea level, you can see the Indian Ocean, Perth city, Rottnest Island, Kings Park and Botanic Garden, and even glimpses of the Swan River. Bold Park offers you a memorable experience any time of the year.

At the WA Ecology Centre. The car park is not huge, so arrive early enough to find parking, and do the check in

What to remember

5 km hike. This hike is considered a "tricky green." Green hikes are suitable for beginners and can be completed with a basic level of fitness. There are minimal vertical climbs, and between 1-5 km in length
Children under 4 years of age are not allowed to participate
There are no car park entry fees at this hike
Bring plenty of water (at least 2 liters per person)
Remember to wear comfortable clothes and sturdy trainers or hiking boots. With the uneven surface at times, good grip soles are advised
If you are bringing your dog, please bring doggie bags, and your dog's lead as all dogs must remain on the lead on this hike for safety
If you have hiking sticks, please bring them (although not essential)
Remember to bring your personal first aid kit and snacks/morning tea to enjoy at the end
