This classic city tour was designed for first-time visitors of Phnom Penh city.
The tour will take you to visit the National Museum, which exhibits the world’s most important collection of ancient Khmer archaeological, religious, and artistic from the 4th to the 13th centuries.Th etour will take you to the Royal Palace, riverside and the pub street area to view the Royal Palace exterior and the Mekong river. Then you will also have the chance to visit the Independence Monument, the Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk and Wat Phnom Hill. Most importantly, you will explore the Tuol Sleng Museum, which is the museum of Genocidal Crimes that was used by the Khmer Rouge as a detention and torture centre in late 1970.
Lastly, you will take a sunset cruise along the Mekong River (availability depends on the weather), which is the best way to experience the whole view of this rising star city of Southeast-Asia that was often called “Paris in the east” during 1960-1970. At the end of your tour you will be taken back to your hotel.
