Reindeer husbandry is a significant livelihood in Lapland. Reindeer herding as a way of life, in its current form, is at least 500 years old. Have you ever wondered how the reindeer can survive through winters and where the reindeer get their food?

On this tour, you will see reindeer and we will visit some reindeer husbandry places in the Wilderness.

Would you like to take a guided visit to the Culture and Nature Center of Naava at Pyhätunturi (only 15 minutes from the farm)? It’s a fascinating exhibition about the region's geology, cultural history, and nature.
