What to expect

On this tour you will see some of Iceland's most unique natural features, all in one day. One of the world's largest lava caves, Europe's most powerful hot spring, impressive lava waterfalls and a dip in a geothermal pool are all included in this aventure-packed day!

The day starts from Reykjavik, through the beautiful Borgarfjörður and towards Húsafell. The first stop on the way is the most powerful hot spring in Europe, Deildartunguhver and the magnificent Hraunfossar lava waterfalls. After a break in Hraunfossar, the journey continues to the stunning Víðgelmir cave.

The cave is 148000 cubic metres large and is one of the largest natural lava caves in the world. You'll learn about the cave's history and geological uniqueness while admiring the beautiful and colorful lava cave. After the cave exploration, you'll be able to relax at the geothermal pool at Húsafell before heading back to Reykjavik.
