You will meet your guide in Arquà Petrarca, which is located at the foot of Monte Piccolo and Monte Ventolone in the Euganean Hills.
The town is considered as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and it is famous for having hosted the poet Francesco Petrarca from March 1370 to his death in 1374. There, you could see the marble tomb of Petrarch next to the church of Santa Maria Assunta. In this quiet village in the Euganean Hills, the poet spent his last years in a pleasant and peaceful stay, lovingly assisted by the family of his daughter Francesca.

In the afternoon you will visit to the Catajo castle, a monumental building with 350 rooms, considered the palace of the Euganean Hills.
