After morning pick-up, you'll begin your extensive city tour of San Francisco driving along San Francisco’s waterfront and Marina District. You’ll visit the Palace of Fine Arts and stop so you can take some amazing photos of this gorgeous building and its grounds. You'll even get to experience the drive and views across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Along the tour, your tour guide will take you through the culturally rich neighborhoods of San Francisco and will teach you about the history of Haight-Ashbury, Mission and Castro districts. Marvel at the City's rugged coastline, pause to enjoy cliffside views of the city, and be blown away by the beauty of Golden Gate Park.
You'll continue through Nob Hill, Chinatown, and a visit to the charming Italian neighborhood of North Beach where your tour guide will point out Lombard Street, Coit Tower, Washington Square and more!
After the city tour is over you will be in the Fisherman’s Wharf where you can enjoy lunch and see famous sea lions. After lunch, make your way to Pier 33 to board the ferry for your Then, make your way to Pier 33 for your afternoon Alcatraz Island tour. Here, you'll listen to an audio guide featuring recordings of inmates and guards that worked and inhabited the island.
The Alcatraz tour gives you time to roam and explore this historic island prison at your own pace. You'll get to learn why they call Alcatraz Island 'The Rock'. After touring Alcatraz to your heart’s content, grab one of the returning ferries to bring you back to your starting point at Pier 33.
