This activity starts on the north coast of the island, near Areal de Santa Bárbara beach in Ribeira Grande. After a safety briefing, an introduction to the electric bike and its functions, and equipment distribution, you'll be ready to begin your adventure.
The route continues to the heart of Ribeira Grande, passing through several parishes and points of interest where you can discover more about the local history, culture, and traditions. Highlights include the Fontanário da Ribeira Seca, Espírito Santo Church, Paços do Concelho, and the Oito Arcos Bridge.
Surrounded by nature, you'll continue to Fajã do Redondo and Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande, an area of volcanic activity with hot springs and spaces used to cook the traditional “cozido”.
Following secondary roads, you'll reach Coroa da Mata Viewpoint, enjoying panoramic views and the lush landscapes of the island's north coast. The return follows a coastal dirt path before heading back to the city streets.
