What to expect

Discover one of Seoul's royal palaces dressed up like you're the star of a K-drama set in ancient Korea and experience feeling like a Joseon-era nobleman or noblewoman.

You'll be able to pick from the most traditional hanboks to the most special ones, with a full spectrum of optional add-ons to get the best outfit to suit you. You'll also learn how Korean celebrities, including K-pop stars such as the BTS and the Blackpink, have worn a hanbok too, thus sparking a tremendous interest in Korean traditional clothing all around the world.

The rental goes with a ticket to visit one of the following attractions in Seoul: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gyeonghuigung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace or Deoksugung Palace. You'll be able to wear your hanbok after making a reservation for a designeted location and up to 4 hours.

Come to the 2nd floor of Daehan Hanbok, which is just a 3-minute walk from the Exit 4 of the Gyeongbokgung Station (line3).

What to remember

Know in advance:

the price includes rental of the hanbok, plus a petticoat, a hairband and a hand bag for women
the price doesn't include the King/Sato hat nor the raised hat (optional adds-on)
the available sizes go from a S to an XXXL for females (chest 130cm) and from S to an XXXXL for males (chest 140cm)
basic female hairstyles are offered for free; however, more complex ones with added specific shapes may incur in additional charges
a locker is also provided free of charge to store all your personal clothes and items; however, the provider isn't responsible for your valuables
the rental gives you access to the Gyeongbokgung, the Changdeokgung, the Gyeonghuigung, the Deoksugung or the Changgyeonggung Palace; you can make a reservation for one of the following attractions (based on opening times) directly on the day of your rental
the rental has a maximum duration of 4 hours, after which you'll be charged additionally
