Why you’ll love this…
  • Explore the most charming places in Venice with a guide
  • Admire the astonishing mosaics inside the Golden Basilica
  • Relax on a traditional gondola ride along the Canal Grande
What to expect

Discover Venice's most iconic sites and architectural gems on a guided tour divided into three parts. First get a general overview of the city by visiting St. Mark's Square and the Castello area, then dive deeper into its history with a guided tour of St. Mark's Basilica and complete your experience with a traditional gondola ride.

The guided part of the tour starts in St. Mark's Square with a historical introduction to the city and its most important monuments. You will then be guided through the labyrinth of narrow alleys (calli), bridges, winding canals and wide picturesque squares (campi) of the residential Castello area for total immersion in Venice's charming atmosphere.

Then make your way back to St. Mark's Square and visit the interior of Saint Mark's Basilica, which represents a unicum in Italy thanks to the sumptuous golden mosaics and impressive marble inlay flooring.

After the guided walking tour and a free lunch break, you'll finally make your way to Calle Larga Ascensione and board a typical Venetian gondola for a tour along the Canal Grande. This last part of the experience won't be guided as no words are needed; just sit back, relax and embrace breathtaking city views from the water!
