What to expect

Enjoy the Grand Ball with a touch of theater in the heart of the Venetian carnivals!

In the Hall of the Ridotto, heart of the sumptuous carnivals of the 18th century where nobles, gamblers and libertines such as Giacomo Casanova were regulars, it will take place one of the most creative parties of the Venice Carnival in Costume® program.

After the welcome cocktail, the dinner will take place in a magical atmosphere full of appearances that only artists, such as opera singers, dancers, and performers, in fantastic Venetian costumes, can recreate.

After dinner, it will take place in the Grand Ball with a LED by the masters of dance: a unique experience that combines fun, elegance, and involvement.

What to remember

It is obligatory to come dressed in period costume
During check-out, you will be asked if any food allergies are present, and what type of menu you prefer (fish, vegetarian, or meat). It is not possible to change menu during the event
During booking, you will be able to choose between the following options:
- Entrance with Yellow category costume rental: period costumes inspired by the European fashion of the 1700s and 1800s with quality fabric and trimming. Unique models not mass-produced
- Entrance with Green category costume rental: more elaborate period costumes inspired by the fashion of the European courts of the 1700s and 1800s, with fine fabric and trimming. Unique models not mass-produced
- Entrance with Red category costume rental: top. Exclusive models recently added to the collection of the atelier
- Entrance without costume: only entrance ticket, but please note, it is obligatory to come dressed in period costume
THE COSTUMES MUST BE RETURNED TO THE ATELIER TIEPOLO THE FOLLOWING MORNING BY 11.00am. If serious damages to the costumes are made, the customers will be charged for them
The price of the costume doesn't include the rental of accessories such as masks, hats, wigs, and capes, which are extras, but not mandatory to enter the party
DINNER MENU: Small salad with fish from the Adriatic Sea, Cannelloni filled with fish in a saffron sauce, Baked seabass fillet with curry and vegetables, Bergamot crème brûlée, Venetian Carnival fritters and Coffee. BEVERAGES: Still and sparkling mineral water, regional wines
Evening schedule: 8.30pm Access to the event with the welcome apéritif, 9.00pm Dinner, entertainment, and group period dances, 1.00am Closing of the party
