The first place on the itinerary is near the arch of Yeghishe Charents, a famous Armenian poet and activist. Moving forward, the areas we will cover include the Pagan temple of Garni and Geghard monastery. Garni temple is the only Pagan temple in the post-Soviet region. It is one of the higher levels in front of the Azat river gorge and was the summer accommodation for the former Armenian Kings.
