This tour will bring you to two regions of Armenia: Gegharkunik and Tavush. You will be transfered from Yerevan to Dilijan, have a nice photo stop by lake Sevan and admire its stunning beauty and colours. The trekking from the village of Shamakhyan to Haghartsin monastery will leave a great and unforgettable impact on the participants, as they will explore beautiful forests on their way to the monastery.
The tour starts with pick-up from your location in Yerevan. You will travel by car from Yerevan to Dilijan with a photo stop on the way at lake Sevan, the pearl of Armenia. Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. After the photo stop you continue the car drive to Shamakhyan village near Dilijan National Park, from where you will start a paradise trekking tour to Haghartsin monastery. You are expected to hike a medium difficulty trekking through the picturesque mountains to Haghartsin. Picnic will be eaten on the way.
