Depending on which departure point you selected, you will start from your meeting point in Jerusalem (David Citadel Hotel) or Tel Aviv (BY14 Hotel). You will travel past Herzliya and Natanya and continue north along the coastal road parallel to the Mediterranean, turn inland and drive through the Valley of Armageddon, where you can Megiddo. On your way towards Nazareth, you will visit Mount of Precipitation and finally explore the Church of Annunciation once you arrive in the city. Right next door you'll find the Church of Saint Joseph built on the site where Jesus' father, Joseph had his carpentry.
Then, departing Nazareth and you'll travel to the Sea of Galilee, and on the way, you'll pass Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine. At the foot of the Mount of Beatitudes, you will visit Capernaum on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, where you can see the home of Peter and the Church of the Multiplication. As you continue traveling along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, you'll see exactly where Jesus calmed the sea and walked on water. Across the water, see the Golan Heights forming a beautiful backdrop as you pass the city of Tiberias.
As you reach the southern region of the Sea of Galilee where the Jordan River flows into the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus may have been baptized. You will visit Yardenit from around 3.30pm - 4.15pm. If you'd like to join the baptism with a priest in the Jordan River (Yardenit) to recreate the experience Jesus had, please organize this yourself in advance and contact the Yardenit site. Finally, you will head south on your return journey and see Mouth Tabor as your backdrop.
