Set out on a 2.5-hour Arctic wildlife safari through the scenic Alta Fjord aboard Jektøy, a comfortable Norwegian catamaran with heated panoramic lounges and outdoor viewing areas.
Search the water and skies for whales, porpoises, sea eagles and Arctic seabirds. The captain provides live updates when wildlife or other points of interest are spotted, while the onboard audio guide shares stories about Alta’s history, coastal culture and surrounding landscape.
Jektøy is universally accessible, with step-free boarding and accessible facilities on board. Blankets are available for extra warmth, and snacks and hot and cold drinks can be purchased from the onboard kiosk.
