See the architectural projects of princes and kings, planned for living and representation and learn how the ambition of the private economy and the city administration turned Friedrichstraße into a variable alternance of business and residential street. Find out why and how Ludwig Mies van der Rohe wanted to build a glass house in 1921.

See the American office building Philip Johnson, built in 1997, and learn more about the IBA Neu, which included areas for historical urban reconstruction from 1984-87. Admire the office building by architects E2A, home of TAZ, which aims to offer new solutions for the revitalization of the ground floor zone between an alternative housing model of the 1980s and the current metropolitan building.
