The Fries Landbouw Museum presents the over 2000 years of Fries farming history in a fun and interactive way! You’ll get to learn about the farmers’ lives and working conditions through many exhibitions throughout the museum. See interesting farming technology including old tractors and learn about different aspects of farming, from potato cultivation, butter and cheese production, cattle breeding and more.
Make sure to keep an eye out for temporary exhibitions throughout the year, as well as fun workshops such as felting or wool spinning. Children will also love the museum and they can take part in a treasure hunt and even learn how to milk cows!
