What to expect

Become a real-life superhero on this flyboard experience offered by Miami Watersports! You will be surprised how quick learning this new sport can be.

After a brief training session out of the water, your instructor will continue to train you during your full session in the water. With professional guidance, you'll be flying like Iron Man before you know it! This activity takes place right in front of the dock, meaning that friends and family are welcome to watch for free.

How does it work? Flyboarding is actually a simple concept. A long fire hose is used to connect the jet ski to the flyboard. As the instructor who is sitting on the jet ski increases the power, more water gets pushed into the hose and out of the flyboard, which is what propels the board out of the water. The instructor controls the height while the participant controls all other maneuvers.

Meeting point:

Upon arrival at Dinner Key Marina, go to Pier 9. If you are facing the Miami City Hall, make a right and follow the water until Pier 9. You will see several yellow smiley face flags indicating the location.

What to remember

Check in anytime between 10.00am and 1.30pm on the booked date
This is a 30-minute session consisting of a 10-minute briefing out of the water and 20 minutes in the water
You must be 9+ to participate. A parent/guardian must be present for anyone under 18 years of age & sign a waiver
You do not need to know how to swim, but you must be able to not panic in the water
Max weight 250lbs per rider
Parent/guardian must be present to sign waiver for anyone under 18 years of age
Start times may be delayed/ cancelled due to weather or other factors; unexpiring voucher will be provided to reschedule.

Must bring a valid government ID or passport to complete paperwork at check-in
NOT ACCEPTED: Cards without full name printed; or Amex or Apple Card or Gift cards
