The inside story
Designed by award-winning architect Zaha Hadid, the building that houses the MAXXI is located in the Flaminio district of Rome and is characterized by an innovative and spectacular shape.
The collection is divided into two main sections, one dedicated to arts, the other dedicated to architecture. MAXXI hosts exhibitions, workshops, lectures, performances, screenings, educational projects and represents a laboratory for cultural experimentation and innovation, for research and the production of aesthetic content of our age.
