What to expect

On this excursion to the south of Tenerife, you'll discover the most authentic flavors of the island and its renowned wines. Listen to the guide telling you about the area's traditional plantations and wine cellars.

You'll start your day with a visit to an aloe vera plantation in the town of Güimar. There you'll learn about the cultivation of aloe vera, bananas and other crops that grow on the island land. Your second stop will be one of the two most recognized wineries on the island: Mencey de Chasna. You'll take a guided tour of the winery, its facilities, its machinery, and you'll learn everything about its winemaking process. At the end of this visit, there will be time for a wine tasting.

You'll continue your journey enjoying the wonderful views offered by the mountain road towards Vilaflor. There you'll visit the Bodega Lagar de Chasna, where in addition to a wine tasting you will savor typical Canarian products. Before ending the excursion, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch, delighting yourself with the best of the Canary Islands' gastronomy.
