What to expect

From Agadir, you will have 3 hours drive on the motorway to Marrakech. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the history and culture of this mysterious city. Upon arrival, you will first stop at La Koutoubia Mosque the landmark of the city where its 12-century minaret can be seen from every point of the city.

You will then continue unfolding the secrets of Marrakech by visiting the 19th century Bahia Palace which reflects the beauty of Moroccan architecture.
From here you will walk to the Saadian tombs where the Royal Saadian family is buried containing 66 marble and stucco decorated tombs.

After a delicious lunch (not included) at a Moroccan Riad, you will walk into the Medina with its labyrinthine streets and colorful Souks.

Your Marrakech shore excursion will end in the legendary Jamaa El Fna square where you will watch snake charmers, fortune tellers, acrobats, fire eaters, and musicians perform in harmony. Time permitting, you can enjoy a cup of mint tea in the rooftop terrace of Café de France overlooking the hectic square. Your full-day Marrakech shore excursion journey will end at Agadir port.

PS: some times if your cruise ship is disembarking from Casablanca and embarkation is scheduled in Agadir, there is a possibility of doing an overnight shore excursion to Marrakech for 2 days, and we will drive at the end of the second day to Agadir port.
