After pick-up from your accommodation, you'll head to the Royal Society for Conservation of Nature (Wild Jordan), where you'll receive an introduction to the country's nature reserves and conservation efforts.
From here, the tour continues on foot through downtown Amman, giving you a closer look at everyday life in the city. As you walk through the old streets and local shops, you'll experience the atmosphere and rhythm of the Jordanian capital.
You'll stop at Hashem Restaurant, a well-known local spot in the heart of downtown, before continuing to Habiba to try knafeh, a traditional dessert made with cheese, pastry and sweet syrup.
The walk then takes you to Diwan Duke, followed by the nearby gold market and Al-Husseini Mosque, one of the city's most recognisable landmarks. You'll also pass through the vegetable market before reaching the Nymphaeum, an ancient Roman fountain, and the Roman Theatre. Your visit to the theatre includes access to the Folklore Museum.
After the walking part of the tour, you'll meet your driver and travel to the Citadel, located on one of Amman's hills, before finishing with a visit to the Jordan Museum.
