What to expect

Young and old, come and spend a day at Amnéville Zoo, surrounded by a wonderful variety of animals from all over the world.

Located in the heart of Lorraine, this zoo which opened its doors in 1986, brings together the most beautiful species of fauna on our planet: lions, flamingos, penguins, Siberian tigers, and much more. Take the time to observe exotic animals in a friendly environment and enjoy the entertaining shows with the animals throughout the day! Do not hesitate to ask for the showtimes at the reception desk before starting your visit to the zoo to help you plan your day.

Don't miss Gisèle, a baby Rothschild's giraffe born on September 28, 2020, at the Amnéville zoo, a great first for the Moselle park! It is an extremely rare species of which only about 1600 still live in the wild in Kenya and Uganda.

Plan at least 7 hours in this 18-hectare zoo to discover over 2,000 animals belonging to more than 360 different species at your own pace. Grab a packed lunch and stop off at the park's picnic areas or head straight to one of the park's fast food stalls for lunch and rest.
