Discover Austin's creative side on a walking tour through South Congress, known locally as SoCo. This vibrant district is filled with colourful murals, independent shops and iconic live music venues, reflecting the relaxed character of the city.
Along the route, enjoy a selection of local sweet and savoury treats, including handcrafted doughnuts, traditional Texas kolaches introduced by Czech immigrants, crispy cinnamon-sugar churros and a refreshing gelato or ice cream. Between tastings, learn how South Congress transformed from an overlooked area into one of Austin's most popular cultural destinations.
The tour also explores the influence of food, music and street art on Austin's distinctive identity and the famous “Keep Austin Weird” spirit. With plenty of opportunities to stop for photos at some of the area's best-known murals, this experience offers a fun and flavourful way to discover one of the city's most beloved neighbourhoods.
