Discover Garuda Wisnu Kencana GWK Cultural Park, home to one of Bali’s most iconic landmarks, the GWK statue. Wander through the expansive park grounds and admire this cultural masterpiece depicting Lord Vishnu riding the mythical Garuda bird.

Conceived in 1989 by renowned Balinese sculptor I Nyoman Nuarta, the monumental project began construction in 1997 and was officially completed in 2018 after nearly three decades of dedication and craftsmanship. The statue was assembled from 754 individual modules, culminating in a structure that rises 121 meters above the surrounding landscape.

With your ticket, take in panoramic views and explore the park at your own pace, either on foot or by Segway. As the sun sets, complete your visit by experiencing the captivating Kecak dance performance, set against the dramatic backdrop of this cultural landmark.
