This ticket gives you one day of access to The Ancient City, also known as Muang Boran, a large open-air museum designed in the shape of Thailand. As you explore the park, you'll see representations of key sites from across the country, including temples, palaces and the remains of ancient cities, covering Thai history from its early periods to more recent times.
Most of the structures are carefully crafted replicas, scaled to around one-third of the original size, allowing you to appreciate their architectural details in a single visit. A small number of buildings are original structures that were dismantled from their original locations and rebuilt within Muang Boran.
Located in Samut Prakan, about 30 kilometres from Bangkok, the park offers an overview of Thailand's cultural and historical development through different kingdoms and empires, such as Lanna, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin. Muang Boran has the atmosphere of a vast archaeological site, with plenty of opportunities for photography and time to explore at your own pace over the course of the day.
