Enjoy lunch or dinner at The Letter Press Café and Restaurant, located inside The Printing House Poshtel Bangkok, on Dinso Road in the old town. You can choose between two Thai set menus, available for both lunch and dinner:

Option 1: appetiser: vegetable spring roll and spicy chicken coconut soup. Main: pad Thai with chicken or pork. Dessert: ice cream. Drinks: drinking water or a soft drink

Option 2: appetiser: vegetable spring roll and spicy chicken coconut soup. Main: basil-fried chicken or pork served with a fried egg. Dessert: ice cream. Drinks: drinking water or a soft drink

Dinso Road dates back to 1898 and is known as the site of Bangkok's first printing house. From the 1940s onwards, the building played an important role in publishing educational textbooks for Thai institutions, covering subjects from religion to English grammar.

Today, the six-storey building has been renovated into an industrial, loft‑style poshtel that preserves its heritage while offering a contemporary setting. Nearby landmarks include Sanam Luang, the Grand Palace, the Democracy Monument, the Golden Mountain Temple and Khao San Road, all within the surrounding old town area and visible from The Press Sky Bar on the upper floors.

Alternative Bangkok Small Group Tour

If you'd like to see Bangkok through the eyes of a local, then you'll be in for a treat with this small group half-day tour. Not only will you travel on foot, by underground, boat and tuk-tuk, but you'll discover places and eat snacks at spots where few tourists go.
