Why you’ll love this…

This experience is a full-day island tour of Barbados
You'll drive through the island capital, Bridgetown
The colourful houses of Speightstown will light up your trip
There's a visit to Animal Flower Cave where you can opt to go for a swim
At Cherry Tree Hill you'll take in sweeping views

What to expect

Explore beyond the beach in Barbados with this full day tour. Travel from coast to coast and tick-off the top sights of the island. From the sweeping farm estates to the rugged east coast coves and bays, it's a roll call of the hardest to reach places.

Kick off with a drive through Bridgetown. The island's capital is home to St Ann's Garrison, a British-built fort made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. You'll stop for photos at heart-stirring locations like the rugged Scotland District and the famous surf spot known as the Soup Bowl.

There's a stop in Speightstown to take some quick pics of the tropical-coloured houses, before a trip to Animal Flower Cave – an incredible coral-filled cavern which was discovered by two English explorers in 1780. Further along the coast, you can snap views from 260 metres above the water at Cherry Tree Hill and breathe in the ocean air at boulder-studded Bathsheba beach. A typical Bajan lunch rounds off the day.
