The tour will start from a pickup service from your accommodation in Bratislava. Your driver will accompany you to the train station, hand you over the tickets and leave the instructions on how to get to the destination - the city of Zilina. The journey by train will take about 2 hours.
You will meet your guide at the train station in Zilina. After a brief introduction to the history of North-Western Slovakia, you will head to Rajecka Lesna. This is a famous pilgrimage site in the country and home to the biggest wooden creche of Slovakia, featuring the local traditions and landscapes. Next, you will have a chance to admire the painted wooden houses in the village of Cicmany and go on a stroll in the little village.
After a lunch break, a real treat awaits you - enjoy a 2-hour stay in the regenerating thermal baths! Soak in the hot water and relax in a thermal bath while admiring the panorama of Mala Fatra mountains. The final step of the tour is Zilina. Discover the Old Town with the Church of Holy Trinity, the Burian Tower and the Marianske Square.
