Start your day with a comfortable journey from Bucharest, taking in views of the Romanian countryside along the way. Once in Constanța, follow your guide through the historic centre and learn about the city's past as you visit some of its main landmarks.
Stop at Ovidius Square to see the statue of the Roman poet Ovidius and hear about Constanța's ancient roots. Then, head to the Casino of Constanța, an Art Nouveau building on the coast. Entry isn't included, but you'll have the chance to enjoy a complimentary drink on the casino terrace.
Continue to the Great Mahmudiye Mosque, one of the city's religious landmarks, where you can climb the minaret for views over Constanța and the Black Sea. After the guided part of the tour, you'll have free time for lunch at a local restaurant or to spend some time sunbathing.
Later, visit the Roman Mosaic Edifice and the Museum of Folk Art. Round off your time in Constanța with a leisurely walk along the seaside promenade, with time to relax, have a coffee or shop for souvenirs before the return journey to Bucharest.
