As a highlight of the tour, visit the neighborhood of the Dohány Street Synagogue, which is the largest in Europe and the second largest in the world.

During the walk you'll get to know the home of the largest Jewish community of Eastern Europe today where you'll see from the outside the three most important Synagogues. We overview 2000 years of Jewish history while focusing on the last 150 years including the ""golden age"" of the turn of the century, the interwar period with a special focus on the events of the WW II and the revival of Jewish life from the 1990s.
