What to expect

This tour starts with a tram ride from the pier to Margit bridge, which you’ll cross on foot. When you arrive on Margaret Island, your guide will show you the flower-filled gardens and the musical fountain. The fountain’s water dances in time with the tunes, and it’s the biggest of its kind in Budapest. After you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll have the chance to try lángos – a traditional Hungarian fried flatbread topped with sour cream and grated cheese. Then, you’ll walk back across Margit bridge to the mainland where you can hop on the tram back to the ship.
