Spend a fascinating day hiking among the granite peaks of the Sette Fratelli Regional Park, a green lung in southeastern Sardinia. In addition to wild boars, foxes, hedgehogs and numerous birds including the golden eagle, here you can also observe the majestic Sardinian deer.
The loop trail winds through the lush vegetation of holm oaks mixed with other Mediterranean scrub including strawberry trees, phillyrea and myrtle, among ancient charcoal farmyards, in which you will also cross a section of the Sentiero Italia. You will enter the great mountainous massif of southeastern Sardinia from which emerges the highest peak of Punta Sa Ceraxa with its 1016 meters above sea level, a place where granite in its multiple lithosculptures will be the main scenery before your eyes.
