The rustic whitewashed villages dotted around the Andalusian sierra are some of the most enchanting places to visit in Costa de la Luz, especially when there's a special event happening. Every year, Ronda steps back in time to 1509, and the town is transformed into a stage. You'll see costumed locals dressed up as 'Damas Goyescas,' 'Arrieros' and 'Bandoleros,' recreating romantic scenes from the era.
This tour takes you deep into the mountains to explore the precariously perched town of Ronda in full fiesta mode. In Ronda, as well as watching the special events, you'll have free time to browse the markets, visit the Mondragon Palace, the Church of Santa Maria la Mayor or the Palace of St John Bosco, which affords incredible views over the bridge.
You'll soak up its traditional ‘pueblo blanco' charm as you wander along medieval streets and cross the famous bridge 100 metres above the gorge. With its festive atmosphere, historical reenactments and dramatic scenery, Ronda offers an unforgettable day out before returning to your hotel.
