Tickets for La Casa del Lobo Interpretation Center with a guided tour

The Casa del Lobo in Belmonte de Miranda is an interpretation centre about the Iberian wolf, an emblematic species in Asturias. During the guided tour, an environmental educator guides the group to the wolf enclosure, which is 1.5 km from the center. On foot, you will walk along part of the Chestnut Tree Route, which crosses chestnut groves, beech and oak woods... It is an accessible path, but we recommend that you wear suitable clothes. Along this path, there are different stops to answer questions or give different explanations about what you find along the way, which changes depending on the season or the day: tracks and traces of animals, plants, seasonal flowers, trees... When you reach the enclosure where the wolves live, the viewpoints are opened to access them and observe them without disturbing them. Here you will be introduced to the wolves, learn about their history and their reasons for living here and learn about the current situation of the wolf.
