This three-day tour switches between one of India's most historic cityscapes to her wildest natural surroundings. You'll explore a wealth of UNESCO-listed treasures, pristine palaces and magnificent monuments in the ancient kingdom of Mysore and visit Bandipur National Park – the country's premier Bengal tiger and elephant sanctuary.
Catch an evening flight from Goa and we'll check in for a two-night stay in Mysore – the ancient capital of the Wodiyar dynasty. Rich in royal heritage, the city's star turn is the Mysore Palace. On a full day of sightseeing, we'll spend time here admiring its colourful domes and archways and wandering through intricately carved doorways into lavishly decorated rooms, once the residence of the mighty maharajas.
On day two, we swap history for nature in Bandipur National Park. One of India's premier wildlife sanctuaries, we'll take a thrilling safari drive to spot impressive Indian elephants, beautiful Bengal tigers and more. And after a wild day out, you'll hit the hay in a hotel, ready to return to Goa in the morning.
