Gran Canaria Small Group Island Tour with KM0 Lunch
Gran Canaria is known as a miniature continent, and as soon as you travel inland on this small group tour, you'll discover just why. You'll journey past ever-changing mountainous landscapes and even try a 'KM 0' lunch in one of Spain's 10 most beautiful towns, Tejeda. There'll be stops in Artenara, Bandama and a traditional wine cellar.First up is the Valley of the Presas for some Insta-worthy photos. Then it's on to Tejeda to break for a 'KM 0' Canarian lunch, made from locally sourced ingredients. There'll be chance to sample beer from one of Spain's top microbreweries, too. Afterwards, head to the highest town on the island, Artenara. In the afternoon, we'll continue to Pinos de Gáldar, which has stunning views across the northern coastline. You'll round off the tour with a visit to the famous volcanic Bandama crater, stopping by a local wine cellar to taste and buy some local specialities.

If the Canaries were a meal, Gran Canaria would be the main course – and the dessert. This small group tour will give you a flavour of the island and its cuisine while taking in its natural beauty. The Bandama crater, Arucas and a typical Canarian farm are all on the menu.First up is the vast Bandama volcanic crater. Next up, we're in Arucas. Its colourful homes and flower-filled parks are overshadowed by the volcano-framed Church of St John the Baptist. You'll drop into the town's famed rum distillery for a tasting before heading for a traditional Canarian lunch.The highlight of the day is the award-winning Finca La Laja – a typical Canarian farm – in Agaete. Here, you'll taste wines, cheese, Teror chorizo, Canarian potatoes, cake and its trademark coffee – grown here. You'll also learn how to prepare ‘mojo' sauce. You'll be accompanied by an informative local guide on and off the coach.
