In the evening, you'll be transferred to Hanoi train station to catch an overnight train to Lao Cai. The next morning, a guide will greet you at Lao Cai station and take you on a scenic 1-hour drive followed by a short 30-minute trip south toward Muong Hoa Valley.
Here you'll visit Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong minority and Ta Van village of the Giay minority with a stop at the local catholic church, learning about the different traditions, cultures and costumes of these minority groups. Dinner and overnight stay in Sapa.
On the second day, enjoy a scenic trek to Cat Cat village. Here you'll admire a beautiful waterfall, giant water wheels and traditional houses, and take part in activities that will allow you to discover H'mong culture, food and wine. An overnight train will take you back to Hanoi.
