Experience the ancient village of Duong Lam in Son Tay province on this half-day tour including Mia Pagoda, Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple.
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and drive you to Duong Lam ancient village passing through the breathtaking North Red River Delta. Upon arrival, you'll visit Duong Lam village and wander around the narrow alleys and detours. You'll visit Duong Lam Ancient Gate, Mong Phu Communal House, and a 400-year-old house.
Then, you'll head to Mia Pagoda, one of the oldest temples in Vietnam. Built in 1853, the temple displays 287 Buddha statues. At lunch, you'll be served local delicacies and have the chance to speak with the locals to learn more about their culture.
The afternoon continues with a visit to Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple built to commemorate two national heroes - Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung.
On your way back to Hanoi around 2.00 pm, you can visit the 8th-century Tay Phuong pagoda situated in Thach That province. It is the second oldest pagoda just after Dau Pagoda in Bac Ninh Province and depicts the typical architecture and sculpture in Vietnam. From there, you will have a 45-60-minute transfer to get back to your hotel in Hanoi.
