After around 2 hours from Saigon, you'll arrive in Ben Tre, known as the “coconut kingdom” of Vietnam. In the afternoon, you can take a leisurely motorboat cruise along the Tien River, passing Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix Islets. Visit Kirin Islet to explore tropical fruit orchards, a honey bee farm, and a coconut candy workshop. You'll sample seasonal fruits, honey tea, and traditional folk music.
