Begin with a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Explore hidden passageways, traps, and shelters, while learning about the tunnels’ strategic role. Sample traditional snacks like boiled cassava and tea, once eaten by tunnel dwellers.

Next, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch featuring regional dishes such as crispy fried giant elephant fish and fresh tropical fruits, highlighting the vibrant flavours of the Mekong Delta.

Continue your journey with a peaceful boat ride along the Mekong River, observing daily life in riverside communities. In Ben Tre, visit local artisans who craft coconut candy and other treats. Enjoy tastings of fresh coconut water and coconut-based sweets.

A highlight of the day is a live Đờn Ca Tài Tử performance, a traditional Southern Vietnamese music style known for its poetic and soulful melodies.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City by late afternoon, with hotel drop-off by 7:00 pm.
