Kefalonians take their traditions seriously, and the feast of St Gerasimos on August 16 is as big as they get. You'll be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the Omala Valley to celebrate their patron saint with the locals. Get the lowdown from your guide on the importance of the feast, wander around a local market, visit the monastery where his relics are held, and round off the experience with a tasting at the Robola Winery.
