Next, view the striking island of Mamula and explore a former military submarine base used during WWII. From there, head to the vibrant Blue Cave for a refreshing swim in its luminous turquoise waters.

The highlight of the journey is Zanjice Beach on the Lustica Peninsula, a pristine retreat surrounded by olive groves. Once a private resort for President Tito, this exclusive beach is accessible only by boat. You will have several hours here to swim, relax on the shore, or enjoy an optional seafood lunch.

Please avoid bringing drones, as flying them is forbidden at Our Lady of the Rocks, and swimming around the island is also not allowed
Church and museum opening hours at Our Lady of the Rocks vary seasonally, closing earlier during the shoulder months of spring and autumn

Remember to bring:

A light jacket or sweater during the spring and autumn months, as the breeze on the speedboat can get quite chilly
Swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, a sunhat, and plenty of sunscreen to stay comfortable during the beach and swim stops
