Graceful by name and appearance, La Graciosa is the ‘other' Canary island – one that few ever visit. Lying just a kilometre north of Lanzarote, it's like a different world – there are no cars, so no need for paved roads. Board the ferry and cross the El Rio Strait over to the sleepy village of Caleta del Sebo, the larger of the island's two settlements. Explore it at your own pace or with your guide. Next, jump aboard the catamaran – where you'll be handed a mojito – and glide past the island's rugged coastline. You'll head near Playa Francesa beach, which lies in the shadow of the Amarilla volcano, where you'll dive into snorkelling, kayaking, and soaking up the views.
