The inside story
Arenberg Castle is a popular destination located on the outskirts of Leuven, Belgium. Get ready to admire Renaissance architecture, intricate stonework and turrets – surrounded by peaceful gardens. Originally built in the late 16th century, the castle has been owned by the d'Arenberg family for over 500 years and today it houses the faculty of engineering at KU Leuven University. Inside the castle, you can explore an impressive collection of rooms, artworks and over 200,000 rare books and manuscripts in the library.
