What to expect

This is a day trip to Palma with a difference as you'll get there and back by boat. Enjoy a drink on board, then make waves as you travel into the port. And with three hours' free time in the Majorcan capital, you can shop, bar hop or sightsee to your heart's content.

The boat trip into Palma will take about an hour, allowing you to kick back and enjoy your complimentary drink. Watch the city and its cathedral come into view, then once you're docked up in the port, step off for a few hours exploring the historic quarter.

Hit the boutiques or enjoy a coffee while people-watching from one of the many terraces. Dip into a bar for a quick bite to eat, or pack in as many of the sites as you can. One of the highlights is the gothic cathedral, La Seu, whose interior is a must-see. Then hop aboard the boat again, for a scenic return trip to Magaluf and the beaches of Palmanova.
