After an away-from-it-all escape? Biesanz Bay is a sandy arc surrounded by little more than tropical forest. And the best way to get there? By kayaking Costa Rica's western coast. Paddle through the Pacific Ocean to this slice of paradise before strapping on a snorkel to search for rainbow-coloured fish and rounding off with a home-made meal.
