In addition to the automotive industry, the area is also famous for the strong presence of the ceramic industry: Maranello is part of the Union of Municipalities of the District ceramic.
Thousands of tourists and fans of the "Rossa" visit every year the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Maranello is home to historical models of sports cars, trophies and memorabilia of the drivers who have made the history of one of the oldest teams in Formula 1. Another interesting place is the famous wind tunnel designed by Renzo Piano at the Ferrari factory. It is a type of tunnel equipped with a treadmill, synchronized with the wind speed, on which cars are tested. Nearby is also possible to see the monument dedicated to the Cavallino Rampante, by the sculptor of Albanian origin Helidon Xhixha.
