What to expect

This full-day tour gives you the opportunity to explore two beautiful Mexican cities: Cuernavaca and Taxco.

Cuernavaca is situated only 89 kilometers from Mexico City and is known as "The City of the Eternal Spring". Cuernavaca owed this nickname to the Prussian geographer and naturalist Alexander Von Humboldt who visited Cuernavaca in the early 19th century on his Latin-American expedition. The city is a perfect place to relax and explore numerous historic monuments. One of the most representative buildings of Cuernavaca is the Palace of Hernan Cortes, located next to the main square and the crafts market. It is one of the oldest European-style, civil constructions in the Americas. Just outside the building, you can see the remains of the old pyramid on which Cortes built his palace. The building now houses the Museo Regional Cuauhnáhuac, dedicated to the history and anthropology of Morelos State. You will also visit the cathedral, constructed in the 16th century as one of the first in Mexico. Then, have a walk around the Morelos and Juarez Gardens, which are connected by the State Government Palace and together form the town's central square.

After the end of Cuernavaca's tour, you will go to Taxco, also called the silver capital. You will visit the center of Taxco with its pleasant atmosphere, paved streets, and Baroque architecture. Visit a silver workshop and the Santa Prisca Church, considered the most beautiful in the country. At the end of the trip, you will have some free time for some shopping or taking photos. before going back to Mexico City.
