The inside story
Ancient, alluring and symbolic are what best describe Stevenskerk Church. This 750-year-old masterpiece is located in the heart of Nijmegen's historical centre. Rebuilt after the WWII bombings, Stevenskerk Chuch (aka Saint Stephen's Church) tells the history of Nijmegen through its elegant domes, vibrant glass stained windows and impressive Köni organ which can be heard echoing in the church's welcoming halls.
It is one of the oldest buildings in the Netherlands, a cultural jewel for Nijmegen.
