Start by meeting your guide at Café Odette. From there, you’ll see the highlights of Île de la Cité, including Notre Dame and the Conciergerie.
After a tour of the Sainte-Chapelle exterior, where you’ll hear about the Gothic architecture and rose window, step inside the UNESCO World Heritage Site with your guide. You’ll immediately see the incredible stained-glass windows. Admire each of the 1113 medieval windows, depicting scenes from the bible. Take snaps of light filtering through the multicoloured windows.
Built in the 13th century, Sainte-Chapelle was a royal chapel used by the French monarchy. It housed holy relics owned by Louis IX, including the crown of thorns.
